Facilities

Each member of the Seymour Public Schools maintenance staff takes great pride in the school in which they work. We believe that clean and well-maintained schools create an environment in which makes teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable.

Our buildings are kept in excellent condition. We are very excited about the eco-friendly features of Chatfield-LoPresti School. This school is equipped with the latest in technology, resource rooms, a new physical education center, and a geo-thermal heating and cooling system controlled by a computer software system that will make the facility a comfortable learning center year round.

Each building has a custodial presence during the school day and during the evening. In this manner we are able to keep the buildings serviceable and clean while meeting the immediate needs of staff and students as they learn.
