Preschool & Prekindergarten
Seymour Public Schools provides special education and related services for 3- and 4-year-olds with a special education disability as defined by the federal law known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Programming is individualized for the specific needs of each student to ensure that these children are provided with a free and appropriate public education.
If a parent has a concern that their child may have a disability, they may make a referral to the Seymour Public Schools. For more information, please refer to the Procedures/Resources page. Referrals can be submitted directly to the Pupil Services Department.
