The Technology Department is responsible for daily operations of the Seymour Public Schools Local Area Network (LAN), hardware and software support, technical training, and web services support. We are committed to providing the students, teachers, staff, and administration with outstanding tools and support to improve education through technology.
The goal of the Technology Department in Seymour Public Schools is to enrich the lives of students by empowering teachers to use classroom technologies to enhance instruction and improve achievement. Each student in Seymour must be prepared to meet the technological challenges of our contemporary society. In order to ensure that we provide the best possible education for our students, we must seamlessly infuse technology at all grade levels. We must also ensure that our students have the skills necessary to be successful in today's technology driven, global work force.
